DAVID MCDONNELL
Director
David is an experienced Mechanical Engineer with 35+ years’ experience. David has been Project Director for large consultancies.
David was a founding partner at McDonnell Langley Associates and worked as a Main Board Director between 1989 and 2007. At McDonnell Langley Associates David was responsible for all aspects of the business with particular emphasis on engineering innovation and project compliance.

During his career David has worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from the conversion of a Sir Christopher Wren Church Tower to residential occupation to close control seawater projects for DEFRA
David has led large project teams delivering schemes with a financial value in excess of £50 million.
David is passionate about delivering good design and as a director of Ingenium his focus is on ensuring the clients requirements are foremost in the implementation of the design from concept through to hand-over.
SEAN COSTELLO
Director
Sean is an experienced Electrical Engineer with 30+ years’ experience working as an Engineer and a Director for large Consultancies.
Sean spent 10 years at Hurleypalmerflatt where he was a Client Service Director, he managed key accounts for major clients throughout Europe and the UK these included, Grainger PLC, BG Group, RWE Npower, Gazprom, Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, Kingston University, Imperial College, BUPA and Capio Health Care.
In 2013 Sean Joined Medland Metropolis as the Managing Director for UK and Europe, Sean successfully grew the business delivering projects for key clients such as WPP, China Construction Bank, Coca Cola, Apple, Hollister,
Sean has worked across all sectors and has a broad range of skills.
Sean has successfully led multi-disciplinary design teams on major projects, which include building services, public health, IT/AV, Structures and Energy & Sustainability.
As a designer Sean implements first class communication amongst the design team and the project stakeholders team. Sean will create conditions that enable the team to exceed expectations and to deliver innovative and functional services.
