Ingenium were appointed to complete the MEPH design for the  reinstatement of the 1st and 2nd floors back to CAT A. On appointment we identified risks early and requested that validations of the existing systems be completed to assist in mitigating the identified risks. Ingenium arranged and managed the validation process liaising with the Facilities Team and JLL.  From the validation results Ingenium were able to advise the client on the benefits and cost of replacing the existing fan coil units which had passed their serviceable life. An informed decision was made by the client to replace the fan coil units, lighting and fire alarm systems on the floors. A full design was completed with clear direction on what services to be retained and replaced.

The scope included

- Produce strip out specification on existing fit out. Removal of comms rooms, kitchens, cupboards, reception fit-out and retractable partitions etc.;

- Replacement of ceilings throughout, including introduction of new lighting, sprinklers, fan coils secondary duct work, grills;

- New shower room within the basement

- Completion of full design

- Site monitoring

- Witnessing of testing and commissioning

The scheme was completed on budget by Parkeray.
