PORTERS GATE

Ingenium were appointed to complete the MEPH design for the atrium infill works at Springer Nature’s Porter’s Gate office. Previously unused space within the atrium light-well was converted into office floor space. The works took place other four floors plus the roof space being used as a plant area.

The services were designed to match the existing installation within the main Porter’s Gate office areas. High level services are exposed and therefore the services design and co-ordination were most important to ensure an aesthetically pleasing finish.
The design had to consider the client was still occupying the surrounding office areas during construction.

The scope included;
-New heating and cooling VRF system
-New supply and extract ventilation system with roof mounted AHU
-Lighting throughout
-Electrical power
